Frequently asked questions
What we can say accurately today.
Is Flood Ready currently offering franchises?
Flood Ready is developing the franchise system and speaking with prospective founding operators. The website is preliminary information, not a franchise offer or territory reservation.
Who is the best early candidate?
Existing licensed plumbing, drain, sewer, excavation or waterproofing companies are strong candidates. Active owner-operators with home-services experience may also qualify if they can build the required licensed field capability.
Does training replace a plumbing or contractor licence?
No. Flood Ready or RSM education does not replace trade licensing, contractor licensing, permits, inspections, manufacturer requirements or local law.
Are Ottawa and Québec already service areas?
No. Current homeowner service remains focused on Toronto, Markham and Burlington. Ottawa, Gatineau and Montréal pages describe franchise-development research, not active homeowner service.
What does a territory include?
No territory boundaries are final. Territory design would consider population, travel, flood exposure, marketing reach, licensing, service economics and operator capacity.
What will the investment be?
No investment range is published yet. Costs must be documented through the pilot system and legal disclosure process before they are represented to candidates.
Can an existing company keep its name?
A future conversion model may allow a local company to retain its identity while operating a Flood Ready division, but the final agreement and brand standards will control public wording.
Will Flood Ready guarantee leads or revenue?
No. Marketing and lead-generation systems may be part of the model, but the website makes no guarantee of lead volume, revenue, profitability or return on investment.
